Partner to Decide provided a webinar to members of the American College of Nurse Midwives. The webinar covered how the induction decision aid aligns with ACNM’s practice guidelines, how the tool was developed and tested, and how it can be implemented.

The Northern New England Perinatal Quality Network’s annual meeting was an incredible group to get feedback on the new, in-development VBAC decision aid! We are so appreciative of their member care providers and their patient advisory board.

The American College of Nurse Midwives referred to Partner to Decide’s induction of labor decision aid in their updated practice bulletin on the topic of elective and routine induction!

Partner to Decide and the induction decision aid were among the featured organizations and speakers at Accompany Doula Care’s Beyond the Belly conference in Worcester, MA.

We had a wonderful time providing a grand rounds presentation and then guiding a resident article review session in partnership with the George Washington Medical School.

Exciting news! Dartmouth is leading a HRSA funded project to improve access to induction of labor in rural settings. In these settings geographic risk (distance from birth facilities) is a unique consideration. Partner to Decide is proud to partner on this project. It will involve updating the decision aid on induction to ensure it speaks to this particular consideration - and then we’ll be studying its implementation!

An incredible group has been formed to serve as Partner to Decide’s community steering committee. We met in person at Nubian Market and plan to convene virtually and in person throughout the year. This group will provide critical guidance for Partner to Decide as an organization and its tools in development.

In collaboration with the Northern New England Perinatal Quality Network, we presented how perinatal quality networks can promote shared decision-making by sharing tools like those created by Partner to Decide.

Dr. Ann Peralta received an alumni award from the Boston University School of Public Health for her work founding and leading Partner to Decide.

Dr. Ann Peralta presented the Partner to Decide decision aid on induction of labor to providers and quality leaders from Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont at the annual Northern New England Quality Improvement Network meeting.

Dr. Ann Peralta joined Nneka Hall to talk about Black maternal health at an event hosted by the City of Medford in Medford, MA.

Dr. Audra Meadows (OB) of UC San Diego Health and Melissa Nelson (CNM) of Mass General Brigham highlighted Partner to Decide’s induction decision aid during Black Maternal Health Week in a panel discussion hosted by the Birthing the Magic Collaborative.

This presentation was part of an ECHO series put together by Wayside Recovery Center that focuses on maternal and infant health disparities — with support from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS).

Dr. Peralta was thrilled to present at the DONA Conference! Doulas are such critical supports to pregnant people and in our community of birth supports.

Dr. Ann Peralta gave a Grand Rounds presentation to the obstetrics department in Lebanon, NH on her induction of labor decision aid and the role of person-centered decision-making in excellent care.

Dr. Peralta was profiled in the Public Health Post for her work on person-centered decision-making in perinatal care.
