Maternal Health Innovation Spotlight

Dr. Peralta’s work on person-centered decision-making on induction was highlighted as part of a panel of initiatives that are doing work that contributes to implementation of the White House Blueprint on Addressing the Maternal Health Crisis at the 2023 Maternal Innovation Symposium in Minneapolis, MN. Goal 2 of the White House Blueprint is “Ensure Those Giving Birth are Heard and are Decisionmakers in Accountable Systems of Care.” Decision-making on induction is called out as a decision that often gets made for pregnant people but should be their decision to make!
